I cannot tell you how much I love the show An Idiot Abroad
and Stephen Merchant delight in sending Karl on new adventures all over the world. The only problem is Karl isn’t an adventurous kind of fellow. In the first season he visits the Seven Wonders of the World… mostly he finds none of them wonderful. His reactions and his commentary with his deadpan facial expressions will make you giggle.
I just watched the first episode of the second season Bucket List. Karl ends up in New Zealand where his first mission is to bungee jump. He is not thrilled with the idea. He then spends the rest of the episode island hopping and hanging out with local tribes. His dream was to spend some quiet time on the beach… he got his wish but it wasn’t all he thought it would be.
Of course the UK got to see it all before we did and the episodes are just now beginning to air here on the Science Channel. The first episode is on demand or you can DVR the rerun. The next episode will air on Saturday night. Watch it!
They’re back! Mob Wives returned to VH1 on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Renee Graziano got her body lift at an expensive price… almost her life. Carla pissed off Renee by not going to see her or even calling her when she was in the hospital after she ripped her back open after surgery. Karen still has beef with Drita and vice versa.
Ramona Rizzo is new to the mix. She’s best friends with Karen and they are so close they refer to each other as cousins.
Most of the show was about Renee’s body lift and how it went wrong. She also threw herself a celebration of life party inviting everyone except Carla. There was tension build up between Drita and Karen. Of course we have to wait until the next episode to really watch it all explode. Big Ang who is also a newbie this season is trying to be the peacemaker (although I suspect she will turn out to be a shit stirrer this season). Until I read her bio I truly thought she was a transgender.
On the next episode punches will be thrown, bloody faces, pissed off Junior and the whole shebang. I can’t wait!
So I logged on to Twitter today to see tweets about Brendon and Rachel being on the Amazing Race. WHAT? Like two seasons of them on Big Brother weren’t enough now they have to poison a whole new show? Let’s just hope and pray that they get kicked off quickly. Rachel alone isn’t so bad but her and Brendon together make me want to scream and then shoot myself. I guess the wedding is on hold and Brendon won’t be curing cancer any time soon unless he can do it while sitting on a flight. At least it keeps them from spawning little Brenchals all over the place. CBS casting you have a lot of explaining to do.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills lady Dana Wilkey and her fiance John Flynn are being sued for $53,000 + for adeal gone bad. But that’s not the REAL story for me. The real story is how much her fiance looks like and older and balder Perez Hilton. It kinda freaked me out and yet cracks me up at the same time. Are you related Perez???
If you have yet to see Brian Williams and Jimmy Fallon Slow Jam the news you must watch it HERE. The news being jammed to the music of The Roots is fantastic. I have to say it’s my favorite bit out of any late night talk show with maybe exception of Johnny Carson’s “Carnac the Magnificent”.
