I cannot tell you how much I love the show An Idiot Abroad
and Stephen Merchant delight in sending Karl on new adventures all over the world. The only problem is Karl isn’t an adventurous kind of fellow. In the first season he visits the Seven Wonders of the World… mostly he finds none of them wonderful. His reactions and his commentary with his deadpan facial expressions will make you giggle.
I just watched the first episode of the second season Bucket List. Karl ends up in New Zealand where his first mission is to bungee jump. He is not thrilled with the idea. He then spends the rest of the episode island hopping and hanging out with local tribes. His dream was to spend some quiet time on the beach… he got his wish but it wasn’t all he thought it would be.
Of course the UK got to see it all before we did and the episodes are just now beginning to air here on the Science Channel. The first episode is on demand or you can DVR the rerun. The next episode will air on Saturday night. Watch it!
