This Season on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

I was a big fan of the show last year and this year I am so annoyed with it I can hardly watch.

Let’s start off with the newbies to the show:

Dana Wilkey -  She is an odd cookie.  I’m not sure why someone is so proud of wasting $25,000 on a pair of sunglasses first of all.  I would LOVE to see her son that speaks all of these languages and is what under two?  Her party planning lacked some skill but she showed some serious skills in the ass kissing department.

Brandi Glanville –  From what little I read about her and her divorce with Eddie Cibrian and his affair/marriage to Leanne Rimes I expected her to be a little bitchy and she didn’t disappoint.  With that being said she’s probably the most real housewife on the show.  Adrienne accuses her of having no filter and that may be true but with your “friends” you should be able to be yourself and not put on an act.  Yes, her son peed on the grass but really is that a reason not to like someone?  She was over the line when she called Kim out for being a meth-head but it is very obvious Kim has some issue with substance abuse.  She may not be drinking this year but she is definitely on something.  Yes, there was a more subtle way to bring that conversation about but when you feel like you are being sliced and diced you are going to say the one thing you know that will hurt the most even if you know it’s wrong.

Last year’s favorites:

Kyle Richards – I really liked Kyle last year.  I thought she was pretty down to earth and really cared for her sister.  I was on her side when it came to her and Camille Grammar.  This year I am very disappointed in the way she is behaving.  I posted on a blog awhile back talking about how Kyle is enabling Kim and I stick to that point of view.  She is more on Kim’s side this year because she spilled Kim’s dirty little secret last year and I think the guilt has gotten to her.  The way she is treating Brandi is inexcusable and she’s quickly turning into the most disliked housewife this year.

Lisa Vanderpump –  In the beginning she seems like a classy lady until you really listen to what she has to say.  She doesn’t want Kyle being so close to Taylor out of pure jealousy.  She started badmouthing Brandi before she even got to know her based totally on what Kyle said about her.  You know she doesn’t want Kyle to be Brandi’s friend either so she’s stepping on the hate train early to make sure that doesn’t happen.  Lisa needs to get some self esteem and understand she’s 25 years older than the other housewives and maybe she should go play with other women her age.

Adrienne Maloof –  I am very disappointed in her this year.  I expect so much more from her than instantly believing what Kyle said without even really LISTENING to Brandi.  She certainly wanted Brandi to do all of the apologizing and didn’t call Kyle or Kim out for their behavior.  I hope now that she has watched herself she realizes she is not being a peacemaker but a side chooser.

Last years least favorites:

Camille Grammar – I thought she was almost evil last year.  She was cold and calculating.  I think she realized how last year hurt her image and is trying very hard to remedy that this year.  She is basically keeping her mouth shut to keep Kyle’s target off of her and to make herself  look better.  You can see she wants to say something about Kim’s issues but she knows that will bring on a war.  I truly believe she wants to stick up for Brandi but her image is more important.

Taylor Armstrong –  I’m really not going to say much about her.  She has been through obviously a difficult time.  I don’t believe she ever really loved her husband truly I think she loved the lifestyle but that is my own opinion.  I am hoping that since his death she can figure out what is really important in life and work on her self esteem issues and teach her daughter that family is more important than money.
