What’s Cooking

Before I get started I just have to say that lead defense attorney, Ed Chernoff, reminds me of a young Huey Lewis.

Today MJ’s security guard Alberto Alvarez was on the stand for almost the whole day.  He seemed nervous (who wouldn’t be millions of people are watching).  He seemed like a stand up guy and sure of his answers.  His story basically backed up everyone else’s so far.  Conrad Murray didn’t call 911 as soon as he discovered MJ unresponsive.  Murray tried to clean up the mess before 911 was called or at the very least before they showed up.

I saw a commentator on a show saying that Murray was trying to preserve MJ’s image by cleaning up the mess so the world didn’t know that MJ was using drugs.  Last time I checked a doctor wasn’t in charge of keeping someone’s image clean they were in charge of keeping them safe and alive.  So someone tell me the ways that Dr. Murray was trying to keep MJ alive.   Uhm… so far I haven’t seen one.  He gave him an anesthetic to sleep, valium and other controlled narcotics.  He had no working life saving equipment.  The one piece he did have was missing batteries at some point.  He performed CPR on a bed.  He mentioned that he didn’t want to give mouth to mouth but he would because MJ was his friend.  What if he wasn’t friend’s with Michael, would he not even attempted CPR at all?

So next MJ’s personal chef, Kai Chase, takes the stand.  She says she is a stickler about time because timing is everything in the kitchen and to that I have to agree.  She says Murray ran downstairs and yelled for her to get help, security and Prince.  Here is where I have an issue.  Why would Murray call for a 12 year old?  What does he expect Prince to do?  Yet, the chef goes and gets Prince and tells him Conrad wants him and that she thinks there is something wrong with his dad.  Why on earth would you send a young boy up to go see his dad if you think there is an emergency and something is wrong?  She is either stupid, doesn’t have children, never has been around children or all three.

OK, so Prince is now upstairs and she goes back to making lunch.  Pretty sure if there is an emergency and something is very wrong like she suggested they wouldn’t be worried about lunch being ready at exactly 12:30.  Even if it was something minor and Conrad Murray panicked I am sure they would understand if it was served at 12:45.  She doesn’t run out to the trailer where the security, call MJ’s assistant or even go upstairs to see if she can help.  She goes about making some fancy salad.  When asked how long before security came into the house, she couldn’t recall the time.  This is a lady that was a stickler for time and was obviously still concerned lunch would be late since she went back to making lunch right away.  That just doesn’t make sense.  I’m not saying she’s lying about anything but I think she’s hiding something.  Perhaps something similar has happened before????
